"100 upx" is my tough #pico8 game in 486 characters for #TweetTweetJam. I saved a chunk of characters after taking a close enough is good enough approach to #gamedev.

Exposed the current snapshot of the audio frequency spectrum to the scripting interface and created a small sample as a showcase (sound on!).
The 50 available frequency bins are randomly assigned to 25^2 cubes, and the y-positions are modulated according to the respective amplitudes. Frequencies and amplitudes are log-spaced.

Procedural trees and wind. Going against my intuition, I've made the trees "physically simulated".
The trunk, branches and leaves are all attempting to align themselves with the wind vector, while simultaneously trying to reclaim their original position.
Stiffness and other properties are modulated with a curve.
Next up: Add more refined options for controlling growth, and try creating a few very different looking trees based on the same code.
