Today's Potatostrike progress report:

  1. Only the Credits menu is pending translation. Everything else is ready to go.
  2. Mission 3's song is being worked on, as well as the sprites of the final boss. Hopefully the next update will be ready next week.

  1. Most menus have been fully translated to Spanish, including Main, Pause, Options, Tutorial, Inventory, and Mission Selection.
  2. The next sections pending translation are the Credits Menu, and the Score Window.

  1. One of the new features being added with the next update is spanish localization to Potatostrike!
  2. You can find the option to change the language of the game in the new Interface section of the Options menu.

  1. A bug was found that caused the damaged Potatostrike's hitbox to be larger than intended. It will be fixed next patch.
  2. The Options menu was redesigned. A couple settings were moved around, and a few were added.

  1. Mission 3's second ending and general playtesting has been finalized! It's nearly ready to go.
  2. During playtesting, the Plasma Cannon was lagging behind in damage output. It now fires faster with each level.

  1. Mission 3's almost fully built! All it's missing is the second run and some playtesting.
  2. A few waves were reworked to increase EXP gain and improve the flow of the mission. Overall, the new waves are more fun!

  1. Mission 3's construction is progressing at a steady pace. The first half is nearly done.
  2. Being the last mission, some waves will be quite difficult to overcome undamaged. Expect lots of enemies and projectiles.

  1. Mission 3 is formally under construction. The first step is building the various bossfights.
  2. This boss features a wide variety of attacks. One of them is a barrage of plasma projectiles shot in a frontal arc.

  1. Due to technical complications, plans were changed to only store the highest score in a mission, instead of the top 5.

A new patch for Potatostrike has been released.

Alpha version 0.1.0 adds Mission 2 to the game. Battle against Starchless Fleet inside a Space Station!

It also includes multiple bug fixes, and a screenshot system!

  1. Made a few slight modifications to the Mission 2 bosses to adjust their balancing and make their attacks more varied in their second form.
  2. Mission 2 is nearly done! All it's missing now is the background music.

  1. A screenshot system is being added. It also has the timer setting from MF-01 Aerostrike.
  2. Mission 2 is mostly done. It includes new enemies like the Javelin, the Carrier, and the crowd favorite, the Stinger!

  1. Finished testing all the new enemies that appear in Mission 2. They should make things more interesting.

This one will play during Mission 1. Each mission will have its own song.
