This is the second in my vintage botanical series showing yellow and white paphiopedilum orchids and blue morning glories. Having so much fun creating this series. Hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Two more outputs from my flow field system. Trying to judge by eye what makes a good composition from the random outputs and then restricting the system to make those combinations more likely.
Just made this new jewellery composition with the most incredible Abalone shell. It has 2 stunning sides that each one feel like a work of art by nature. I then added stunning Amethyst crysta, Angelite gemstone beads, Hematite styled beads and dark blue-black glass beads. It's now available on my little Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/GenderlessBySkaly
"The Garden Parasol," Frederick Carl Frieseke, c. 1910.
American-born Frieseke was a student of the Impressionists but eschewed their passion for landscapes and instead focused on his two main fascinations, light and women. His paintings have a remarkable technique, but are also quite male-gazey, if you get my drift.

I always have to remind myself of this, we're all only here for a short while! Hope you enjoy this mixed media inspirational quote recently added to my collection:)
#art#history: river phoenix was born #otd in 1970 & i celebrate his short (but impactful) life by trying to transfer his essence in lines & colour. his prescience was staggering.
i know he'd still be the most badarse plant-eater on earth if he hadn't tangoed with the medicine he used to numb himself to the pain of this world - but at least the costa rican rainforest he bought with his hollywood money is protected still. #riverPhoenix#vegan#film#rainforest#portrait#cinema#costaRica
My daughter and I are volunteering for the Bad Art fundraiser for Oakland Animal Services, where my son volunteered during high school. Donate $50 to Friends of OAS and get a bad portrait of your pet!
Brilliant way to support a good cause. More info at the link!
