Okay, after feeding/hydrating/bathing/drying/loving #BabySquirrel Ramone, my #TrumpTrial coverage is back on. Thank goodness they recognize adoptive #squirrel parental rights [obviously I’m kidding]
• My 14 yr old rescue dog Linus who no matter where we live (I move A LOT) either sleeps on the couch or the dogbed in my bedroom, now sleeps right next to the table where I’ve set up all things Ramone.
Apparently we’re both now nursemaids, so expect to always hear his snore in Ramone videos.
• Also I’ve officially designated my grey hoodie as Ramone feeding clothes, don’t like wasting water & try to limit laundry.
[meaning, yer only way of marking time will be the color / intensity of the light — just like Ramone & me; I currently live where “thar be dragons” … so … yeah]
Things I love in this video:
a. how Ramone instantly falls asleep when I give him a belly-rub.
b. the way he grips my thumb even through the cloth
c. where we are in our relationship -- a place of trust🥰
This was really early Sat + this little one needs to be fed every 2hrs which takes about an hour so we were both crazy sleepy leading to:
a. Ramone basically sleep drinking
b. Me calling “Pedialyte” “Prilosec” I don’t use either, but my TV/radio consumption is mostly news, whose ads target an older demographic meaning I hear ads for heartburn, arthritis, ED, heart disease; guess it crept into my subconscious vocab.
Also this was right before I could tell she was a he.
This is the one I really wish I'd managed to get sharper, but given that it was a Surprise Squirrel, and I was just having a wander in the woods, it'll do 🙂
A #juror was quickly dismissed at the start. She was among the 7 already selected, she said she was very worried that despite the fact the court ruled to keep jurors’ name secret, she would still be exposed & targeted.
