I just got a panicked call from my OH to tell me the mother in law has been rushed into hospital. It seems she had a terrible tumble while getting out of the bath, this morning, hit her head and broke her nose. Sheโ€™s in her 80s. This is not good on any level. Does anyone know of a UK supermarket that sells little individual ice cream tubs? The sort you used to be able to get in packs of 10. Mum in Law used to like having them, but we can't find them anywhere now. I know it's excess packaging, but it was so convenient for her. A big tub is hard to scoop out of, and ends up getting harder and harder.

@suearcher Sainsbury's have Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Mini Cups, but it's the pricey end of the ice-cream market, although cheaper if you have a nectar card.

@suearcher Hehe, yeah, they do look tasty. What about buying a big tub of vanilla (or whatever) and a set of small reusable pots, and re-potting for her? A bit of a faff but could solve the problem.

Edit: if you ever get takeouts the wee pots they put sauces in with an Indian meal could work well. We re-use for all sorts, but have definitely frozen them.

Here's an alternate view of the same falls, taken from the same spot. They're the Falls of Dochart, and they run through the small village of Killin. They are lovely.

Next to the falls is an old mill with a restored water wheel. How cool is that?!

@FionaCraig I think it must be. It's not actually that snowy at the moment, although I did notice a spot of snow still up there as I passed by. I had to dig out an older photo showing the mill, as I thought if I was doing a Falls of Dochart mini-thread it was awful to miss out the water wheel!

@drnoble Yeah, that was filmed there. They restored the one in the old mill by the falls a few years back.

@drnoble For a really long time there as well. They think there have been mills there for centuries (the one still standing is a mere couple of hundred years old!)

A simple animated cartoon. There are three identical robots, each made of 6 grey cubes (head, body, hands, feet) and 5 grey tubes (neck, arms, legs). They are bouncing from side to side. They have a mouth which is either grimacing or smiling. I think it's smiling.
