    Next.js static export not supporting next/image is wild.

    Spent the day with extended family and no one misgendered or dead-named my #trans daughter. My extended family are very much a crowd who are steeped in the UK mainstream media environment. So I have no doubt they've been exposed to the anti trans rhetoric that's so common at present. But I can report that it doesn't seem to have brainwormed any of them this far. No idea if this is comforting to anyone but it was pleasant to reflect on for me.

    The whole point of democratic elections is to allow for a peaceful transfer of power—without violence—when a government embodying one type of policy has become widely unpopular.

    The problem we've gotten into in the UK (and also the USA) is that extremists have seized control of one of the regular incumbent parties, and the other parties have responded perversely by moving towards them. Removing the ability for a course change after an election.

    Labour or Tories, they're still neoliberals.
