@vruz@malwarejake I know a couple good ones that I liked working with. The kind who view their jobs as keeping upper management's bullshit from disrupting the people actually doing the job.
The skin of your laundry pods dissolve in the washing machine, right?
They dissolve into microplastic.
And wastewater treatment systems have no way to filter that out so the microplastics go straight into streams and the ocean.
Just pour your laundry soap out of a box or bottle.
@WoodSharpening@RiaResists@CelloMomOnCars there's a trail in my city that runs between a river and a sewage treatment plant. The detergent smells are even worse when they're all mixed together in one place 🤢
Any car without physical controls for lights and climate control is a nonstarter with me. I'd like to be able to keep my eyes on the road while turning adjusting the AC, turning the defogger on etc.
EDIT: I see the emphasis is on safety features and doesn't list climate control. AC is probably debatable but IMO the defogger is a safety device. Can't drive safe if you can't see out the windshield.
I wrote about the Vice Media implosion and why I don't think the U.S. media industry is capable of being honest with itself as to why this keeps happening:
I've now spent 3 days working with Godot for an actual game. Overall it's a really solid engine so far but it's definitely got some rough spots for me. So I figured I'd do a quick thread of "What grinds my gears"
Another #gamedev stream done! Got some animation done and endured some #unity3d scuff. Nothing like wasting 10+ minutes to Unity crashing when trying to start Visual Studio... followed by Visual Studio itself glitching out.
This weekend I'll be livestreaming all of my work for the Toronto Game Jam. Starting on Friday morning (May 10th) I'll make a fun small game over three days.
