@Daojoan it's quite the opposite. before covid, I was very independent and driven.

now, I have to emotionally lean against my spouse to get anything done. I've honestly lost 90% of my will to live, and it's just so tiring to use my anger to motivate myself like I used to.

now I'm just lost in a sea of apathy with random islands of emotional turmoil.

the only sense of normalcy I feel is sharing bits of myself on here(screaming into the void), as if telling myself who I was to who I am.

I was discussing this recently. news used to be the platform for information. the information WAS the product that was being sold.

then they were able to get more money by injecting advertising. now the advertising IS the product.

there's only one solution; ban advertisements, restore free airtime & stricter regulations for online news to promote freedom of information.
