So we don’t have a #Switch and the 8yo is excited about getting one. I suspect it will mostly be used for Mario Kart and Animal Crossing, along with whatever I get time to play on it myself.
Any recommendations for which model to buy, and controllers? (We currently mostly use 8BitDo SN30s with a Mac mini running Batocera.) Also, any games that might suit an 8yo who’s into Minecraft and exploratory adventures would be fab. (She doesn’t really do peril or competition! Except, oddly, Centipede.)

As an experiment, I wanted to see if I could recreate the Nintendo Switch logo. I built the shapes in Adobe Illustrator and used Adobe Animate to create this simple looping animation.
Me: attempts to set up mini-G’s new #Nintendo#Switch and bung a dozen games on there.
Nintendo: allows me to buy six and then point-blank refuses to allow me to buy more, saying there are problems with two credit cards and a PayPal account.
Er. What? Is this normal? (The accounts are fine.)
Does anyone want to buy my original Nintendo #switch now that the new #Zelda is coming out? It’s in great condition, but I am thinking about switching to the OLED model. €200, without games. Great deal for the kids for example! :-)
