Trying to get away from buying heavily processed vegan meat substitutes and making more use of tofu.

My go to is pressing and thinly slicing firm tofu into strips, and marinading in dark soy sauce, maple syrup and whatever spicy sauce I have. I then air fry them for about 7 minutes.

Is there a name-and-shame list of companies forcing AI tools into the products we use?

Perhaps with instructions on how to opt out of or block these tools... and even alternatives which don't include AI?

If it's made unprofitable or financially damaging for companies to force AI upon us, then perhaps they will think twice before doing it?

I realise that coming back from this dystopian AI hellscape is unlikely of course.

We are deep into it now, and this is as much a problem of monopolies and capitalism as it is AI. We have afforded too few, too much power.

Last time I updated a Windows box, it installed games and adverts lol.

@box464 I do see more pointless integrations of AI that I do ones with a valid use. It seems to be used as a selling point much of the time.

I'm sure there are benefits to it in some situations, but so far I feel that the dangers outweigh the benefits.

The vast majority of people wonโ€™t bother to install yet another browser... there's already enough confusion with the current state of browsers and standards lol

@hl Who do they push back against though? Companies won't listen, even if they have a direct line of communication. It's all incredibly annoying. I don't want AI features in the Adobe software that I pay for, but there it is. @robb @Cloud68
