@CernBasher did write a thorough analysis that I recommend in your attention. I want to take a critical look at his predictions and discuss the nuanced realities of such a transformative technology.

Interested in the robotaxi vision? Check out @herbertong's engaging interview with Basher for an in-depth discussion on the future of transport. Well worth the watch for anyone curious about what's on the horizon. 🚗💡#AutonomousVehicles#Innovation
😀 🎉Flexible batch electrodialysis for low-cost solar-powered brackish water desalination
Scientists have developed a new solar-powered system to convert saltwater into fresh drinking water which they say could help reduce dangerous the risk of waterborne diseases like cholera
🧠 #Neurodiversity brings different perspectives and ways of thinking, as well as nonconformity. All so important to drive change and #innovation. However, it needs an inclusive culture to make people thrive.
🚀 People with autism spectrum can have a significant impact on the world. Like Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein or Michelangelo.
The fun thing about the Haier micro enterprise model is that it's basically the logical extension of autonomous teams ... but with a strong "legal bulkhead" around each team, because each team* is a separate company with its own P&L, CEO, etc.
A forcing function for innovation, accountability, limiting risk, etc.

If today’s “grow or perish” #capitalism is good for #innovation, how come that most of the exponential innovation in #computer technology (in #hardware) depends on a #German foundation which has in its rules to secure the right of the employees and to advance the craft — but not #economic growth?
The terrible human toll in Gaza has many causes.
A chilling investigation by +972 highlights efficiency:
An engineer: “When a 3-year-old girl is killed in a home in Gaza, it’s because someone in the army decided it wasn’t a big deal for her to be killed.”
An AI outputs "100 targets a day". Like a factory with murder delivery:
"According to the investigation, another reason for the large number of targets, and the extensive harm to civilian life in Gaza, is the widespread use of a system called “Habsora” (“The Gospel”), which is largely built on artificial intelligence and can “generate” targets almost automatically at a rate that far exceeds what was previously possible. This AI system, as described by a former intelligence officer, essentially facilitates a “mass assassination factory.”"
"The third is “power targets,” which includes high-rises and residential towers in the heart of cities, and public buildings such as universities, banks, and government offices."
It was easier to locate the individuals in their private houses.
“We were not interested in killing operatives only when they were in a military building or engaged in a military activity. On the contrary, the IDF bombed them in homes without hesitation, as a first option. It’s much easier to bomb a family’s home. The system is built to look for them in these situations.”
