A question for #Linux#Wayland users. I am running Debian stable with Plasma and my computer was freezing randomly, and very often. Let's say once per day. I was about to start replacing hardware components to find the guilty party, but then I switched from Wayland to X11 and it has been a couple of weeks with not a single freeze. Is it possible that Wayland is this unstable or am I doing something wrong? My GPU is Radeon 6000 if this matters.

I have so much stuff stored on my 1TB SSD that I can't even login.
I'd like to fix this if possible. This is not the first time this issue has occurred either.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what I might be able to do to rectify such a situation?

Why Linux is not adopted on a large scale. Because Linux is too fragmented and because Linux users are evil and don't accept the new. Most want Linux to look like the first version of Linux - the command line (TTY).
Or they see that and horses, just forward and don't accept any other Linux distribution than the one they use.

There's only one distro, only one DE, uses every modern shit available. And now what? How's gonna pay all the money to force others companies to not support others S.O with their drivers?, to sell machines only with this modern and wonderful S.O.? To re-educate all that people that use other things cause they are easy and eye candy?

In what? you have systemd shoved up on all our asses, wayland too, you have Posix, but no one like it anymore, you have xdg but now gnome doesn't like it al all .....
You have standarts if you want. But you also have choices.
If you want a stardart distro, use any coorporative one, any pseudo-linux of IMB, opensuse, canonical, etc. But let the people decide what the hell they want to use.

Each one of those distros have a vision of what is what they want. I don't think MX would like to use systemad anymore that they use it, like mint does, or zorin loose the money they collect with they pro version.
What you see as disanvantage I see as a virtue.

Teach the users to learch how to choose their SO just like they do when they buy a car or a house and don't treat them like a fools

Mine was #Trisquel - a #Ubuntu fork with only free (as in freedom) software
I think I used Trisquel 7 and 8 almost daily for about two years on a Dell Precision with i5 CPU
It ran pretty well on it (replacing the Broadcom wifi card with an Atheros one was pretty easy) and I could do all I wanted to do, but that wasn't much more than web browsing, listening to music, etc.

Los problemas que causaban exceso de trafico estan solucionados.
El resto de supuestos problemas se basan en AUR, argumento que el mismo rompe al inicio.
Manjaro no es arch, y no recomienda AUR.
Asi que no puedes decir que manjaro tiene un problema porque sus librerias no estan actualizadas a las que necesitan los pkgs de aur .......
BTW ..... Todas las distros han tenido y tienen sus problemas......
En el episodio de hoy de #yavosotrosque , abro mi VM con windows10, porque es sábado y tengo el cuerpo para full-contact y microsoft me dice que para que no me vuelva a congelar mis ficheros en OneDrive que borre, o compre más capacidad...
Tengo 0.1% ocupado. Creo que tengo un fichero de texto, o dos.

Looking for a way to rip BluRay discs so I can stream the videos via Plex, on Manjaro Linux. Every site on the net points to MakeMKV, except the BETA key for that expired at the end of April, and the site hasn't been updated with a new one... So, anyone got any ideas?
