@matthewskelton Right!?? Unacceptable, IMO. It is such an abusive breach of trust to take user insights and opinions anonymously, then only after many years hold those contributions hostage, to force customers into divulging their PII. So wrong.

The breach of trust and the abusive policy are why I will never use or trust them again.

#eWEEKChat A1: Very distributed, decentralized. Few have a holistic #Data strategy, let alone an #Analytics strategy. Some have a Data Management team, but even then mostly for integrity & governance, not #DataScience.

@GhostOnTheHalfShell That last sentence has become a quasi-religious war in my world. Theoretically, yes, judicious sampling is good and sufficient; but it opens a big risk in missing the one data point that shows a massive problem.

Pricing all data as 'high-value' is the real issue, I think. Buyers want vendors to price for data value, not just data volume.

@davidseidl Yes, especially after so many orgs told staff (as I did - except I meant it!) that they would always support remote work.

As a result, so many talented people relo'd to regional centers, and I expect many of them simply won't go back to their prior lives.

That's got to be good for regional employers like you all, doesn't it?

@davidseidl Bummer you did not see an influx - although we did here in Boulder and it is sort nuts to learn over a third of workers living in my town are remote workers. Coffeeshops here are like We Works!

At least we both live in nice places 🤷‍♂️
