Contrary to the propaganda I was sold in elementary school, the #cops are NOT our friends and do NOT exist to "protect and serve" anything other than the status quo of white power and privilege (and/or their own violent sociopathy).

They're claiming the thick chains protestors at #Columbia used when occupying a building are proof that the protesters weren't real students.
In fact, not only are those chains widely used by students all over the city... Columbia itself sells them to students.

After the #BLM protests in 2020, a group of #cops (I forget the exact source) said something to the effect of, "it's easy for us to deal with one big #protest, but ten smaller ones across the #city would overwhelm us".
When I said, I want to set myself on fire - IF I ever had terminal illness with no cures - and some #WhiteFolks freaked the fuck out without even trying to #communicate with me on why the hell I felt the way I did & some fucker tried putting state violence on me by calling the #cops on me.
I get why some ppl feel they'd never be heard unless they did something very extreme.
