Contrary to the propaganda I was sold in elementary school, the #cops are NOT our friends and do NOT exist to "protect and serve" anything other than the status quo of white power and privilege (and/or their own violent sociopathy).
@corbin_lambeth The ties of the Israeli Zionist state and the US run deep into the security/police state - it's not just lobbying influence on the Federal level. The IDF trains US urban police forces and you can see the outcome of that alliance here. It's deeply problematic as an American to watch our citizens suffer repression because they disagree with the brutal policy of another foreign state. It's fucking untenable.
