To "never" get them, you must
a) be outside targeted demographics AND

@mike_vlasman Those cameras are still used on photography classes in 1st semester in some art colleges. I had two students here at the beach and they were at the deadline and could not print their photographs in the college lab anymore (yes they do analog photography in 1st semester!) - so I helped them processing their films and doing prints for them in my "bathroom dark room". I was glad my enlarger lamp still worked ;-)
I have 17 analog cameras - from big format over medium format to demi (!) (72 pictures on a 36 exposures 35mm film) - the latter has some funny street photography grain attributes :)

Got brunch with a dear friend who is a psych professor at a public university and so is deeply affected by state laws passing restricting what they can teach; we talked a great deal about the laws in her state that include not questioning "meritocracy." Every aspect of psychology that has informed a more just and holistic understanding of human ability, entire subfields of our work that include important evidence about underestimation and misestimation in achievement systems, disallowed.
