@andrew @law I'm a psychologist working entirely by telehealth. There is just no way this is remotely okay. Even if I wasn't doing remote therapy sessions, I do not need anyone or anything monitoring all the documentation I do.

I have never had a Bluetooth anything. I have avoided signing into things "using your Google account" since they started trying to make us do that. I don't have Spotify or iTunes or Tidal or Apple Music or whatever. I buy MP3 tracks or CDs and play them on those devices.
I skip any sign-in that is optional, even if they try to hide it and imply you must sign in. I have never signed into FB on my phone. I never use an app when there's an option to use mobile web (and there's almost always is).

For those who aren’t aware, Microsoft have decided to bake essentially an infostealer into base Windows OS and enable by default.

From the Microsoft FAQ: “Note that Recall does not perform content moderation. It will not hide information such as passwords or financial account numbers."

Info is stored locally - but rather than something like Redline stealing your local browser password vault, now they can just steal the last 3 months of everything you’ve typed and viewed in one database.

I was heading to pick up my son from school, and there was a bee struggling upside-down on the hot pavement. I managed to flip her right-side up with a stick, but she couldn't take off and flipped over again.
As I was crouched in the parking lot, feet in a skirt came up to me, attached to a young woman who asked if I was trying to save a bumblebee. Then she put her fingertip down to the bee, who grabbed it, then she flipped the bee aloft and she flew away! The woman disappeared too

What is the best solution for those horrible tiny black beetles that always chew up my eggplant leaves? I normally don't use anything more potent than insecticidal soap but it barely has any effect on them. And although it's satisfying, I can't stay ahead of them by smashing them between my fingers.

Nature created a wooden sculpture of a hare out of this tree trunk.

Also, I don't know what's been blooming out here but the past three weeks there are patches that smell just like corn chips. 😂 I have never smelled this before in the years I've been coming out here.

  1. I hear that Chevy is considering restarting the Camaro brand as an electric SUV.
    I have no problem with the next Camaro being an all electric vehicle but make it a performance EV coup not a glorified station wagon. No it's not going to sell like an SUV but you have other SUVs in your line for that. Why not embrace hot rodding again with new technologies? Make a performance coup with modular upgradable components.

Is there a verified female who can rent me a small room? I'm a former PCA caregiver before I met my ex(DV) abuser. I'm trained. I'm also great with housekeeping, laundry, taking care of domestic animals, light yard work, respectful, honest, I'm Not Running from the Law, I have valid ID card & valid social security card. @Sharenna ⬆️ has now been approved for the DV shelter.

I gave her train fare and she went to another town to be safer.

She is just waiting for a bed at the shelter to open, they said a couple days to a week. She must call daily to check. She had two nights at a cheap hotel but now needs support to stay sheltered and have something to eat in the next week while awaiting their call. It is raining in the Northeast all this weekend!
