@nickajordan it’s just the little screw fallen out so hopefully an easy fix. Also I can do it myself as if I take them off I can’t see!

The optician usually does these things for free.

@elsemusic wise. New glasses has been on my list for a while but decent vari-vocals are very expensive here.

There’s a chain that often have two for one offers but I don’t think the lenses are that good.

I've got a couple of good mics now after years of working hard to save the money. I've a modern pair of c414s (sadly Hungarian, not the Austrian ones). I've an Austrian Audio 818. A pair of 040 micro SDCs. Drum sets, Shure 57s etc etc..

...there is a church down the road from me (and probably many others near me) that always sounded cool. Even as an atheist its tempting to email them and ask about hiring it as a recording space, or ask if they have a choir.

@tiredhorizon somethings it’s the funny little things that are the most fun though. 414s are amazing but they give you the sound of whatever’s in front of them, there’s no colour there to speak of.

There’s a really cruddy TC Electronic EQ at work gets used for distortion. It sounds bloody horrible, which is perfect!

I thought Foodora was an internationally famous startup. As it turns out, it's not.

It exists in Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Hungary and the Czech Republic

They have no idea what you mean by "Foodora" outside of those countries.

In America, the equivalent is DoorDash, which is completely unknown here.
