Lush, organic and cinematic, this is the sound of #jazz crashing into post rock while the ghost of #prog looks on with approval. Twisty, unusual rhythms and interesting harmonic movement realized by an array of impressive musicians, including both traditional rock/jazz players but also strings and more. I aimed to create the windy howls of rocky places like the Grand Canyon or somewhere in Utah by manipulating sounds in Hypha, Piano Colors, and Noire piano from NI. No loops. Nimona (Charvel pro mod 24 DK) is set up with some compression, a spreader, silver and chromaverb, and a multi spread time delay (studio and tape). #guitar#ambient#PostRock#music
i've been in a constant state of longing for the way the internet used to feel so i decided to create a very minimal music forum, similar to the phpbb forums we all used to visit.
no algorithms, no ads, minimal feature sets, minimal js, etc. i just missed scoping out music on my schedule and seeing what others are enjoying.
