@jemmesedi If you point to China as a "massive greenhouse emitter" despite its per-capita emissions being a quarter of yours AND despite most of its emissions being in service of your insatiable appetite for cheap consumer goods, YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON. And probably a racist.

This list could go on forever. But given the common element in all of them, the term "Sinophobia" is perfectly adequate, especially given the history of the Yellow Peril laws in much of the white world.

I'm calling it now: the Democrats have no hope in this election. They've alienated the demographic that they so desperately need the support of for calling them "anti-semitic" for...checks notes...opposing an open genocide.

The youth are not going to be voting Trump, but they're definitely not voting Biden either. Trump will win. Enjoy your next four years.

Now Biden is campaigning like he's The Man and yet calling a critical part of his voting base "antisemitic" while he feeds the genocide machine.

See here's the thing about me and TTRPGs. I know hubris is punished, either by vengeful DMs, paranoid players, or blind luck (and yet it's never commented on by others when hubris wins! )

But I will always take that bait. My character WILL say "what's the worst that could happen?" or "Don't worry, I'll be fine!" or "I'm gonna push the button".

Because it's FUN. Why would I let myself play in an imaginary space and not start pulling all the little levers? I'm going to build a little person, give them all the nice little emotional details, interact and build rapport with my fellow PCs and then see what happens when I go stick my head in the box, because let's be real, nothing makes a player and their character line up faster than "oh god what are you doing??"

Currently my mainstay is a nice ๆป‡็บข่Œถ (Dian Hong tea, a Yunnan black) but I just got a sampler of a ้›€ๅค่Œถ (Quegu tea) a ๆฏ›ๅฐ– (maojian) green from ๆญฆๅคทๅฑฑ (Mount Wuyi) that I'll be doing a photo-essay about (like the last one I did: https://pixelfed.social/i/web/post/691852919888906026) because it looks really special.

I'm already starting to look for products like that.
