Personally I just hate any money spent on "borders to keep migrants out", often billions of Euros on stopping people :amaze:

If people are desperate they will come either way and they should! I would also if I was in that position

Instead put some more effort in finding and solving reasons why people migrate in the first place but do accept and help the ones that do come

A higher wall or an extra guard isn't gonna help anyone, on both sides

But that's just me 🤷

Yesterday my gf and I went to the wedding of her cousin who just a little younger than us, end 20-ish

And the guy marrying (who shares the same name with me😆) told me that they tried to get as much second hand, free and recycled goods for the wedding like chairs, glasses etc

And the overall vibe was so cozy! All with "custom" items basically for almost no money!

He said that hiring glasses would costs 40 cents per glass and buying them second hand 20 cents. And they even can return them 💪 ♻️
