If their system declines your credit card, it still places a pre-authorisation for the full amount into your bank account – thereby reducing the balance of your account for the full amount. The authorisation is for a whole month and so you cannot touch that money for a month.
I called and spoke with them and they told me there’s nothing they can do on their end and my bank won’t investigate unless they take the money.
WTF?! My 71 year old mother just called me, because her #Samsung#Tablet has no internet connection. I told her to reboot it, but she said it won't let her. Turns out Samsung decided to make the power button dedicated to the #Bixby assistant. They want her to tell Bixby "Please turn off the tablet". But remember how I said the tablet has got no internet? :)

What if you could own a stylus enabled Windows 11 Laptop, that was ALSO a Linux PC, and it was ALSO an Android tablet, and it cost less than an iPad Air (with keyboard), but had twice as much storage as the iPad AND you could upgrade its SSD when you needed more space?
Does anyone have experience with an #Apple#iPad Pro? My friend wants something laptop-like and really prefers Apple but #Macbook costs are ludicrous. I know it runs the M2 chip now, so I wonder how it is as a #computer replacement?
I am of the opinion that if we keep waiting for the “perfect” #Linux tablet, it will never exist. The specs of the #StarLabs#StarLite are head and shoulders above any other Linux-dedicated #tablet thus far.
I plan on purchasing one once I see a product review, and if it’s as good as I hope it will be, I hope that Linux users will support it with their WALLETS so we get more and better devices like this.
This is hilarious. There was a chip in phones from four years ago that was built SO well that it was used long after newer chips were released. My buddy @tkbay and I were JUST joking on our podcast this Wednesday that we'd probably see that chip get used AGAIN in another phone or tablet this year.
