#OpenUSD has a prim.GetName() but no prim.SetName()! I know how to edit primpaths via an sdf.layer but having a .SetName() would have meant i could be solving another problem right now instead of bashing my head against moving stage data to a sdf.layer and back!

Is there any geo file format that blender doesnt try to import & convert to blender data? I feel like it is lacking in that it doesnt/cant stream data from an outside file. Similar to a gpucache in maya, I just want 1 outliner item reading in a file that could have multiple meshs within.
