I really love that soft cinematography from around 2017-2022. Kind of dark pastels or a really crunched colour space without losing detail. I don't know how to describe it really. Unfortunately we already seem to be moving on from it.

English photographer Eadweard Muybridge was born #OTD in 1830.

Muybridge is known for his pioneering chronophotography of animal locomotion between 1878 and 1886, which used multiple cameras to capture the different positions in a stride; and for his zoopraxiscope, a device for projecting painted motion pictures from glass discs that predated the flexible perforated film strip used in cinematography.

About a "hippie camp" in Kauai in the early 70's
The is excellent.

It captures subtle details and perspectives from a time gone by and reminded me of my own childhood and I hope young people get to see it, for a glimpse at a world so different from today.

Q: Is there a way to find files by extension with ?

A: Yes, the powerful Find Editor can do that and a lot more.

Use the "Name ... ends with" parameter, and add the period to the suffix to search for, w.g. ".mp4".

Watching Maestro with Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan. It's like watching an old black and white 40s/50s kind of film. The feel of the direction is to emulate how the films were back then. Like when someone walks into shot and they are lit up and the transitions betweens scenes are blended. As I photo guy I really like it. #Photography #film #cinematography

NeoFinder 8.5 can read special and metadata out of your video files.

In particular, this includes details about the camera and lens used, the capture FPS (for slo-mo and time lapse), and textual data, such as production details.
