A 6-fold mandala of a poppy seed capsule, an 8-fold mandala of goldfish and a 16-fold mandala of reflections on water mixed together into a square (p1) kaleidoscope.
My recording function still drops parts of the recorded video so I have to guess the correct length for a perfect loop. But after 17 tries, this one seems to be good.
Another pattern of invertebrates for #InverteFest2024 but this time from the Cambrian Period (from 538.8 to 485.4 million years ago). This pattern is made from my linocut animal prints with collaged washi papers. The spiky handprinted Wiwaxia, a soft-bodied animal covered in scales & spines lived in the early & middle Cambrian period and fossils are found worldwide, including in Canada’s Burgess Shale.

Putting out a call for all who sew. I am looking for a skort pattern.
Not a sports skort. And not the kind that looks like a skirt in front and shorts in the back. I want what appears to be a skirt but with integrated shorts underneath. I can't seem to find one anywhere or perhaps I am looking in the wrong places.
