Turns out when you only have 20m of “yarn” the only items of clothing you can knit are smalls. Behold the TechnoValkyrie (which I shall be wearing over a nice thick black vest, with a warm jacket over). Each side is separately controllable but it’s basic pwm. It’s sort of like light up chainmail, to wear, and of course fits the rules of female body armour.

A copper LED string knitted into a basic triangular bikini lies on a fake fur blanket. The sides flash on and off and sparkle to music.

I’ve been working hard on FAQs for all aspects of #emf - and honestly there are some queries you can anticipate.

“Where can I put my jet engine” is quite common, for instance, along with “how much fuel do we need for the flamethrowers”, and numerous laser related things.

Handily someone else has taken the trebuchet and Tesla coil queries. So far.

Day 109 - I have been slacking as far as a daily piggin goes, but I am still drawing them. Or painting. This is a Rose Crowned Fruit Dove which is the Australian / Singaporean version of our dull grey variety. You may think I’m making up the colours. I’m not.

Day 94 - my eyes are floating. Squillions of stitches with one or two strands from an embroidery thread, and yes I know I need to move it forwards a bit in the hoop. I need to stop seeing in miniature first. Took nearly 2 hours. 2p for scale.

Day 77 - another tiny canvas, another piggin peeking at you. These are cheap as chips acrylic on canvas, and they take me about an hour each using my old Ork painting brushes.

For those wondering what #YearOfPigeons is about, on New Year’s Eve I stayed up too late, ate a lot of snacks, and while fireworks were smashing my eardrums, thought it would be a good idea to try and get Really Good at drawing pigeons. I have since dedicated a bit of every day to this task. Here are some of them so far:

Day 48 - got some tinted charcoal. It is messy but I think the piggin is mostly there. Think it is hard to do the smoothness of their feathers.
