I posted a few weeks ago about how people were leaving empty nitrous cylinders lying around and wondering if they could be reused for something.

Someone left two of them in the gutter of my house last night, so I grabbed them to get a better look at them.

They are heavy steel. The end caps look like they're 1/4" thick. The label on the tanks say they are rated 120 bar working pressure (1740 psi). That's a lot of pressure!

Today at set build, I was in charge of the small team that built this 7'x10' flat. Then after we were done, the director asked the producer if this flat was supposed to have a door in it. He checked his notes and realized it was, so we had to do some radical surgery to both the flat and a door.

I'm the end we got it done, but it was a busy, sweaty, and hectic day

At the bar I met a man who had terrible short-term memory because he had brain surgery at some point (They cut my memory out! he said)

He's taking acting classes and he wants to be an actor. That seems like quite a challenge, considering his condition.

I stopped by the ceramics studio for a little while today for open lab time, and finished a bowl and a beer stein. The new maker's mark stamp is working well

I also got these mugs back from bisque firing, but I was wracked with indecision about how to glaze them so I put them back in my locker until next class.

I also threw a large porcelain bowl and a marbled vessel that could be a small lamp base or a bud vase, but I forgot to get pictures of those

This clay body turns deep brown, very much like brownie dough, when fully fired, so I don't want to completely cover it up with glaze. Figuring out where to strike the balance between glazed and unglazed areas is tricky though

A man, very old and white haired, boarded the bus, shuffling with the small footsteps of someone who isn't sure they can walk without tripping and carrying a brand-new yellow pages, still sealed in plastic. After several miles, he stood and exited the bus and walked towards a mountain bike casually chained to a nearby fence. He casually dropped the yellow pages into the bike's wire basket, unlocked the bike, and pedaled away
