The work features 132 spatially located LEDs, driven by 2x #Pimoroni Plasma Stick 2040W. They talk to a server, which supplies a function to set R,G,B each frame.
Is it the first demo to run on a tent? (probably not; the #demoscene folks are an inventive crowd 😄).
Enjoy!
I recently went to EMF Camp (which is Glastonbury for geeks - lots of random electronics, talks, art, and camping). Naturally, I took along my Infrared camera and pointed it at interesting things! First up… sewage! Festivals often have big tanks to take away human effluence. But how can you, a normal human, tell how […]
Looking back on #emfcamp, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but as far as I could see there were no LLM or GenAI demos, and I didn't have any conversations about AI/ML with anyone.

I'm back from a fun few days at #emf2024 - great vibe, ran into old friends, made new ones, and learned some random stuff (like the previous retoot about timezones on the London underground) .
Most of (all?) the hacks were funny and had a physical manifestation - not purely software. Also quite a retro feel to a lot of it - Fax machines etc but also robots/droids everywhere!
Thank you, appealingly priced and reasonably reviewed festival tent. I will never forget our first time together.

Last five @badge@emfducks sixties style flying porcelain ducks are going for a walk round the camp. Open to cool swaps not necessarily badge related #emfcamp#emf
Great and terrible things are coming together at the #Hebocon construction workshop. Join us on Stage C at 2pm today to see the tournament final! #emf2024#emf#emfcamp
#emf2024 highlight: this velociraptor puppet by Laura Mathews. The attention to detail in the anatomy, articulation and naturalistic movement are incredible to behold! #emf#emfcamp
