Wind yesterday blew the sugar pea vines off the trellis, so I harvested all the pods I could and strung the vines back up. Then used some of the pods for a stir fry, along with fresh garlic I recently harvested. 😋 #Gardening #GrowYourOwn #Organic

This was the view from my chair while I waited to see the doctor this morning.
Excellent provider, that she is, she called an eye doctor friend who agreed to see me on her lunch.
The diagnosis was ocular migraines. Too much stress from too many different directions. I got drops for the swelling.
It appears my eyes are healthy and clear.
So I am going to stop fighting with Providence and pay the $500 bill, that I shouldn't have to pay, and move on without having to talk to anyone else who will irritate me to no end.
It just isn't worth it.
Going to chill for the rest of the day.
Thanks again to everyone for the good vibes. It helps.

Got in 3-plus miles before the rain got serious this morning, took a few snaps, including a cedar waxwing, downy woodpecker and two young bucks. #GetOutside #Hiking

A small woodpecker upside-down on a tree, its breast is buff gray and back and head mostly black with white spots and patches around the eye that is visible. Fairly short beak for woodpecker.
Two tan-colored deer, one with a dark tail showing above a white rump, are walking on a paved path past a park bench. Both have velvet antlers, one's pair is beginning to branch and the other's are just short stubs. Their black hooves are pointed and look dainty, but they're not.

Lot of bird activity on the morning hike, marsh wren singing while building a nest, a black-capped chickadee apparently nesting in a woodpecker hole and a downy woodpecker doing its thing. Oh yes, my fav beaver Little Whittle was in the channel chilling, I love that cutie. #Hiking #GetOutside, it’s how I keep from going crazy.
