Just spotted this gem in the NYTimes on the court case from a true expert on 'democracy':

Mr. Putin last year called the various proceedings against Mr. Trump political “persecution” and said they had revealed the “rottenness of the American political system, which cannot pretend to teach others about democracy.”

His spokesman, Dmitri S. Peskov, reiterated the point on Friday in response to the verdict, saying it was clear to the entire world that the U.S. authorities were trying to eliminate political rivals “by all possible legal and illegal means.”

The #NYTimes has become notorious for its role in laundering right-wing #transphobia for its largely liberal audience. A recent article about local school politics serves as yet another example of how the paper’s anti-trans agenda most likely flies under the radar of most readers—making its propaganda that much more effective.

What critics are calling for is not censorship, as executive editor Joe Kahn pretends, but a recognition that the paper is not merely holding up a mirror to the world, but making choices about what’s important for readers to know—and that those choices have real-world consequences.

I dont see fascist on , I see great in the court reporting, like "he has his eyes closed 80 to 90% of the time"

If not for MSNBC, only the jury would see this fascist conman tactic

The NYTimes' Spelling Bee is a great word game. My Bogdle word game is also good, but not quite as professional, and maybe not as bug-free and "sticky".

That being said, Spelling Bee really needs a "this is a valid word" CSS class on the guess container BEFORE you submit it.

Psst: https://bogdle.neb.host HAS that feature already ;P

Given how low my rent is in the Midwest, seems like renting is the smarter financial choice atm. But finances aren't everything. QOL is important too, though harder to quantify.

The NYT has for some reason (maybe since the new head editor in 2022? IDK, that's only a guess) become explicitly anti-Biden. I suspect that this article is their concern-trolling way of criticizing Biden, and doesn't at all represent actual constructive advice from someone who wants him to win.

A New York Times reporter admitted that the paper is intentionally producing negative coverage of President Biden.

Why is the publisher of the NYT engaging in such behavior?

Because Biden won’t give them an exclusive interview.

@politicususa Or, to put it differently, the is concerned that President Biden is losing his mental powers, wants to test his fitness in a way normal for campaigns, the President refuses to give them the opportunity, and so they think it's likely that the White House is trying to hide a problem.
