I am past tired of news media assuming good intentions from bad people.
I lost my temper the other when I heard someone on NPR use the term "culture war." It is not a culture war. It a group of bigots looking for a way to make bigotry socially acceptable.
@StillIRise1963 I don't have cable anymore, but obviously I'm not missing a thing. Remember,NBC/Comcast helped normalize Trump for white America with The Apprentice. And had him on Morning Joe every chance they got before the 2016 election. And even after he lost in 2020. They're as complicit in this right-wing BS as the other networks. Profits and ratings. And nothing else. All journalistic credibility got tossed out the door years ago.
@StillIRise1963 Thanks for the article, which reads like something from the National Review: Non-conservative media is to be scorned. The article also cherry picked the facts and ignored the plethora of republican 'never-trumpers' on MSNBC. The primary takeaway is the affirmation that the 21st Century version of the NYT is not representative of the country, but is, at a minimum, leaning to the corporate libertarian right (i.e. fascists).
@StillIRise1963 so yes, complicit was the correct word to use for the NYT. All the corporate media that is stonewalling Joe Biden's activities. Remember when Trump was on every freaking day?
RE #nytimes reported that MSNBC hosts,...They say their message — that Mr. Trump’s candidacy represents a unique and clear threat to democracy — is an urgent one for the electorate to hear
I dont see fascist #propaganda on #msnbc, I see great in the court reporting, like "he has his eyes closed 80 to 90% of the time"
⭕He is showing his defiance to the #TrumpTrial jury
If not for MSNBC, only the jury would see this fascist conman tactic
