If you are at all close to ANY stretch of the west coast of #Japan (Sea of Japan side: opposite to Tokyo) then check the news. There is an emergency evacuation order in place. Tremors are continuing and it seems that strong #tsunami waves will be a risk for a significant period.
Note tsunami can surge up rivers and even 40cm can sweep you away.
