Bug tracker for RDE.

RDE is already quite big project with a few subprojects and it's hard to track feature requests, reports, milestones, their dependencies and to collocate and organize them properly and share publicly.

That's why for last few weeks I was looking at different project management/bug tracking solutions.

From what I found so far it seems that Bugzilla is the best option at the moment.

Thoughts?

Game-breaking lag and accelerated game speed (broken in game timer) and microstuttering champions and minions

I've got a bug where the game does not create a window after champion select, but it is open in the background and loads into SR. If you stop the game process and press reconnect in the client, it usually still does not work, but ~1/10 of the time it may eventually let me into the game. At the same time, (could be the same or a...

Something is wrong with #Mozilla #Firefox 116 b8 under #PopOS 22.04.

It keeps hanging, or crashing, when there are #JavaScript interactions.

What I've tried:

  • Uninstall Firefox
  • Delete all profiles
  • Delete all cache
  • Reboot
  • Install Firefox
  • Test from a fresh installation, Without any customizations and addons/extensions.
  • Disabled HTTP3 (which was the issue for a similar case a year ago).
  • No, I don't have popcorntime installed (which is/was an issue for #Wayland.)
  • I'm using #X11 not Wayland.

Other information:

  • I can't even login to #Google. After entering my password, the tab just stops working. It stops interacting. No clicks, no tabbing, no arrow cursor.
  • I can't event open about:support it hangs.
  • I can't use #Facebook, eventually the tab will stop interacting. No clicks, no tabbing, no arrow cursor.
  • I can't watch videos on #YouTube. If the YT ads play first, it will get stuck there. If the actual video plays first, after a few seconds it will either get stuck at some frame, or just keep playing without any interaction (can't stop, etc.)

My device:

This is totally out of my league. I don't know what else to test.

So, I switched to #Naver #Whale as my primary #browser for now. It is a #Chromium-based browser from #Korea.

Oh, one more thing, when I close Firefox, it pops-up an error that it crashed. Since the 116b8 update, Firefox just kept on crashing when closing.

Just musing on how a bug's ability to turn walls and ceilings into floors is pretty impressive.

Also, in checking the type of bug I discover that the humble wood louse has loads of really cool names globally. Chisel bobs and woodpigs are particularly fine alternatives to the Scottish slater.

Animal of the day (093)

Who said bugs can't be pretty? This one is a true living work of art, and aptly named the Picasso Bug. Barely the size of a pinky nail, it is endemic to tropical and subtropical Africa. Closely related to stink bugs, it emits a noxious odour when disturbed or threatened, on top of being poisonous to predators. Like all true bugs, it has a straw-like proboscis which it uses to suck up its favorite food, in this case juices of flowering plants. One of its favorite host plants is Arabic coffee, so you know it's got good taste too.

Anyone able to help me out here with identifying this bug? I can't spend 10 minutes in my garden without having at least one waltzing over me. They're annoying just because there are so many of them! They're like, say, 5mm tall or so, not huge. The pic should show that clearly unless you really believe that those fingers belong to a giant. Location is in the Netherlands.

I have run a dozen or so automated tests on 10 BETA over the last 2 weeks to see which of the remain intermittent and how much so. I used multiple architectures (arm and amd64), finding some tests fail between 10% and 100% (no failures get you kicked out of the club), some from 1% to 10% and even some that fail less than 1% of the time. Pesky !

Scatterplots of test case failures with one having a Y axis 0 to 10 percent and the other from 0 to 1 percent and an unlabeled X axis..

Oh noes, apparently I haven't considered different delimiters for the left and right #CSV in #CsvDiff.😱

Someone reported a bug in qsv diff (which uses csv-diff) with this scenario.

https://github.com/jqnatividad/qsv/issues/1258

I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

Glad, csv-diff is actively used! ❤️
