It was not planned when I was creating it, but now I feel it something fits at the beginning of weekend. Not decided yet if these dragons want to start having fun or they are simply going to sleep.
Based on... many random photos I think and finally it not looks like any particular one :blobcatjoy:
I wanted to experiment with water and reflections.
Hi guys, first post here. Would love to find some new friends here in the Fediverse :cirno_hi:
Some stuff about me:
I love watching #anime. I try to watch EVERYTHING that comes out every season. Some of my favorites this season are Henjin no Salad Bowl, Dungeon Meshi, Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai, Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi, Kurayukaba and Ooi! Tonbo. I do have a MyAnimeList account but I will only share it with friends :TamakoHeh:
I don't read much manga but my favorite are Yotsubato&! and Golden Kamuy.
I love #drawing in "anime style" :akko_excited: I love drawing my friends' and my OCs the most, but I do fanart of my favorite anime and games too. Recently I've been trying to learn how to use #Krita because I want to encourage friends to learn digital drawing with affordable options. Krita is FOSS for raster and that makes it super awesome :konata_goodjob: The next fanart I will probably put out is for akuyakuLV99, if I don't end up abandoning it... :ferndisapproval:
so yeah let's be weeb friends/drawing friends/anything friends if you're interested :kannalove:
Here is my new GNU/Linux distribution guide about Debian KDE 12, the right GNU/Linux distribution for professional digital painting in 2024! Also about three major problems with GNU/Linux distros that will drive away all professional artists, IMO, and how I got kicked out of the Fedora KDE ecosystem with F40, which imposed Plasma6 and Wayland. I hope it helps other artists here!
It's not too late for another #mermaid for #Mermay! This one with psychedelic rainbow fins and scales. It was very funny to create this and I think I should draw more creatures with similar looking body parts - mermaids, dragons, some abstract fantasy animals...
Created this after reading conversation in comments below some tech article somewhere. Someone mentioned "surfing the #internet sewer" and I really liked that phrase.
One day, when I was in "damn, let's destroy this damned reality" mood I did this small #fanart, #InfinityGauntlet of #Thanos in "tattoo design" style. I am not even a fan of Marvel movies, rather fan of Thanos :blobcatjoy:
Quick, let's find that "Thanos was right" t-shirt which was lost somewhere in wardrobe! * :blobCat_happy:
Some time ago I did this small #fanart of Poogie, little #piglet in #MosterHunterWorld. Poogie has many outfits, changing with holidays and seasons and I thought Halloween version was the best I saw. Whole pig's body disappeared, only empty #ghost#costume floating in the air.
I was planning on posting this today anyways, but now I find out it's #WorldBeeDay? I'm hoping that's a good sign 😅
I've been teaching myself how to use #Krita & dipping my toe into the world of #DigitalPainting.
Don't worry, I don't plan on ever stopping my usual pen & ink art, but there are some things I want to create that I need to stretch into other mediums for.
Anyways, I did a “learn krita while painting Bob Ross” tutorial which was super helpful, ...
then did another Bob Ross on my own, and now this:
this is only my second non-Bob painting, and I'm fairly pleased with how it came out!
I know I have A LOT of improvement still, the world of color is rather a bit of a conundrum for me as I'm so used to working in black and white. I know I have a few artist mutuals here, so please feel free to critique, also if you have any favorite tutorials, or books to learn from, that would be awesome too!
