It's crazy how in order to make chain mail in the middle ages they had to smelt iron, draw it into wire, bend and cut it into tiny rings, link them, and hammer them together by hand and it took months of labor so only the richest people could afford it, and now we have a massive industrial complex that could make each and every human on earth a full body suit of chain mail in less than a week but we just don't because we don't want to.

The image in this ancient Greek cup depicts a helmet-maker concentrating on adding the final touches to a Corinthian helmet.
The cup with its scene of ancient daily life had already been broken and repaired in antiquity before it was placed into a tomb, possibly of a helmet-maker. It was found only in fragments sometime in the 19th century and subsequently heavily restored.

💙💛 Handelsblatt reports that the German group Rheinmetall has bought 50 of the above-mentioned former Belgian Leopard 1A5(BE) tanks from the storage of the Belgian company OIP Land Systems. Of these, Rheinmetall plans to repair about 30 tanks for transfer to Ukraine and use the rest for spare parts. The Belgian Leopard 1s were manufactured between 1968 and 1970.
