I am watching Sailor Moon S: The Movie now, my first entrance into any Sailor Moon anime. I had recently read the short story manga that the movie is based on.
And, frankly, this may be the greatest anime of all time for this scene alone.

The C64 was a very popular 8-bit computer in the 1980s. One of its most-appreciated features was the SID audio chip. The SID's distinctive synth sound caused people to sometimes buy a game predominantly for the soundtrack, like the compositions of SID maestro Rob Hubbard:
In the 1990s and early 2000s, tiny animated GIF banners of 88 x 31 pixels could be found on lots of sites, usually functioning as a button or clickable ad, linking to a different site.
