Some Rudbeckia in my friend's garden. This variety appears to be a self-seeding annual since its location, flower color variations, and numbers vary from year to year. I'm a huge fan. I've tried to establish it in my garden using seeds from his plants but no luck so far. Have to try again next year 🤞.

@Rihilism
I have them in the #garden, found seeds labeled Gloriosa daisy. They do self seed well and grow as a bi-annual, producing larger plants the second year. I've transplanted the volunteers and second year plants early in the spring with success. #Daisy#Flower#Photography#Dahlia
It is damaged beyond repair or usability. The protective top is regularly moved askew by wind and heavy snow, the moss thrives on the base plate. The lattice holder mount can’t be moved anymore and the whole thing is crap anyway. 🤣
So, @evelynefoerster and I decided to get a #BigGreenEgg instead. It's smaller, can be put away (and protected against weather). We’ll see how that turns out. 🙃🍗🥩🍕🥗🌽
This shade garden was planted just last summer and is doing wonderfully well. The Annabelle hydrangeas seem to be totally established already. @gardening #garden#gardening #bloomscrolling
I could have sent a proposal/estimate to a client this Friday morning, but I thought "Meh, who reads those on a Friday afternoon?" and instead I spent over an hour picking juneberries in the HQ's #garden before the #fruittrees dry out 😅
This is a Calendula flower bud. I came across/IDed my first Calendula flower last year and was mesmerized by the brilliant orange color. Decided I needed to add it to my garden this year. Managed to start all my plants from seed and though it was slow going when I planted them outside, they seem to be thriving.

#today My #gardening helper, Dixie, lost her battle with Lymphoma and crossed the rainbow bridge. She was my faithful outdoor companion in the #garden these past 15 years. She was the last in a long line of outdoor helpers I've had over the years and will be missed. The times and our neighborhood have changed too much for us to have any more "outdoor" cats, but we continue to have "house" cats, all torties. Goodbye old friend! We will meet again. #CatsOfMastodon #NewEngland
A favorite spot in our garden. My partner Lupe’s rock garden, with a cement bench next to the opening into our Lilac hedge. A very special place. Easy to imagine a hobbit or cute furry emerging from the lilacs to rest on the bench. That’s Thyme growing in between the pavers. #garden#gardening#GardenersOfMastodon#rockgarden#Oregon#RogueValley#SouthernOregon
I live in an apartment building & my landlord kindly allows me to garden. A neighbor approached me about starting some vegetables so we've added some heirloom tomatoes, sweet peppers, kale, & turnips along with some purple basil to my flower garden. We've got our 1st tomato and peppers forming👍

Late entry to this thread cause this just popped yesterday. This is supposed to be plains coreopsis. I especially like the copper buds 👍. The seeds were a gift from my landlady from whom I inherited the garden so I was especially excited to let her know they bloomed.
