This is how bad the Croatian post #HrvatskaPosta is ->
It took a package 5 days to travel 30 kilometars from my post office to Zagreb. 6 days to reach from Zagreb to USA and one day to be delivered to a friend in NY.

I don't even know how to comment that 🙄🙄🙄

Every leaf has a story.
Every story has a beginning
and an end.
The circle of life
is a perpetuum mobile
and it knows no rest.

Seasons come,
and seasons pass
leaving only memories behind.
Nothing is safe under the sun,
the oblivion holds the true death of stars.

So hold my memory close,
keep it safe and warm.
When in spring everything sprouts
you say my name
with a pinch of hope and faith.

Maybe, we will meet again
somewhere, sometime
under the same sky
and the stories we will then write
will be memories
of stars.

My first day at new work place went well. My colleague is half my age, and also blond. Our nursery group we named " The Lions" and I feel the name suits them perfectly. 11 girls and 6 boys, all together 17 children from which some don't walk yet.
What awaits us from first of December is a lot of crying, cuddling, and after-work silence period necessary to maintain our sanity 😁💪💪💪

I would like to be poetic
and say I don't know
when it all changed,
but I know.
I know very well
when my world became
the most beautiful place.

People need different things
to be happy,
and I need only one -
I need you in my life.

I guess it's all matter of personality
and taste
but for me waking up every day
in your arms
is the only thing to which I strive.

To be loved
the way I need to be loved
was the maxima
I chose to live by.
Not settling for anything
or anyone
that would fail to measure up
to that ideal.
And then you came.

Here we are,
three years after
it all began,
and we still go to sleep
and wake up every day
with a smile on our faces
and lips clinched
in a kiss.

It often feels like a dream,
and it makes me wonder
what is it that I have done right
to be blessed with such love?

Done a little pre-Christmas baking today. It felt really good 🥰

These are traveling out of EU, to family in England to be exact.
My husband tells me there is like a Christmas madness that swamps already messed up British post offices so things take a long time to be delivered. We are jumping ahead and sending these Christmas biscuits early. Hopefully, they will get them around Christmas 🎄 🎁 😁
