What jobs are we preparing students for by boosting their writing productivity with AI? After shedding 40% of its workforce, the gaming site Gamurs posted an ad last June for an editor to write 250 articles per week. That’s a new article every 10 minutes, at $4.25 per article.
As @novomancy has noted, AI is only the accomplice here. This clickbait nightmare is the logical conclusion of the ad-supported web.
Featuring new sky colors, a new "label and graphite" item, fence gates, upside-down stairs and slabs, a new explosion system, death messages, and more.
Game Unboxing
From 2020-2022 I had the honor of being Terrible Toybox’s Lead Game Programmer on the adventure game, “Return to Monkey Island”. Look what the publisher, #DevolverDigital, was willing to send to me!
hello ! je suis désesperement à la recherche d'un jeu qui avalera mon âme

Well, RIP games journalism. Good luck finding an objective review. It was difficult before, now it'll be near impossible.
Recently, I've been watching small Youtubers video's for reviews. It's hardly reliable, though. It's important to stay small because I'm beginning to think the larger ones aren't exactly being objective either.
I've not seen a single post on Mastodon about this. Nobody cares, and nobody realizes how potentially damaging this could be.
Oxenfree is available on multiple platforms, ensuring a wide reach for its audience. The game can be played on:

Also Fire Watch did very well and a was a close contender if you finish Oxenfree and want to play Firewatch please do :D Happy Gaming!
If you have a Samsung washing machine, you'll probably be familiar with its self-satisfied "I'm finished" chime — the 40-second jingle that plays when your wash cycle is complete. It's a version of Schubert's "Die Forelle," which was composed in 1817. Now, it's sparked an absurd copyright abuse flag on YouTube, with a Twitch streamer claiming his play-through of Fallout was demonetized because his washing machine finished while he was streaming. Seemingly YouTube's automatic scan had detected the washing machine chime as a song called "Done," which was uploaded to YouTube by a musician known as Audego nine years ago. Albino suggested that YouTube had potentially allowed Audego to make invalid copyright claims for years. Here's more from @arstechnica
Morning Folks! Yesterday I tried the whole "get to 25 and then just do raids" thing for alt leveling in #WorldOfWarcraft#PandariaRemix and it is very much "not my jam". My appetite for chain-running raids does not appear to be what it used to be. This also feels like a strategy for maximizing bronze gain and not necessarily levels.

Diablo IV qui revient dans une version enfin potable, Hellblade II qui pouvait ne pas revenir, et TOUJOURS trop d'IA de l'escroquerie... 😬
Finding interesting people on Mastodon has been my biggest challenge 😅, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Right, with couple of toots already out it's time for an #introduction!
We're the Middle Ages in Modern Games conference: we're a small independently run annual event that specialises in short-form, written papers on how medievalisms and medieval societies are used in modern games and gaming.
If that sounds good, do follow us and read along as we post links to our papers! Boosts on this welcome so we can find interested people.
The newest most powerful chips from Intel and AMD don't qualify for Microsoft's newest CoPilot+ AI branding. We're already seeing INCREDIBLE deals on crazy powerful PCs, because of all the AI hype! Here's my review of the Geekom A8, with a BEAST of an AMD chip inside! https://somegadgetguy.com/b/45e
