Celebrating the public testing stage of the Unbound SDF 3D modeler and game editor (see previous post in this thread for details), here are three images I made with it.
In the Cloudmaker and the snail image, I made use of Unbound's "Splats", an alpha-based scattered texture, enabling easy fur, smoke, grass, et cetera.
After our main router/firewall died at Easter (sadly, it did not rise again), we threw a Debian laptop with an extra NIC in its place and carried on. This meant, as I hadn't spent any time configuring it, we were using our French ISP's DNS resolver.
That lasted until I tried to access #scihub, which is apparently bloqué en France! I've always run my own resolvers, so I've never come across this kind of censorship before.

I've been posting a lot about SDF modeling in #MagicaCSG and #Unbound lately, so I thought to explain a little bit about it…
SDF stands for Signed Distance Fields, falling in the CSG 3D category (Constructive Solid Geometry). 3D SDF is based on volumetric math functions, and offers complete modeling freedom without any concerns about topology / mesh structure, unlike polygonal modeling or even NURBS modeling.

Now that is interesting: #Unbound reports an #DNSSEC related #EDE, even with the CD flag set. We know there is a problem but still have the desired result. Nice :3
I've made a new #workflow which is tagging and releasing #cd built images automatically too. I can't wait for @nlnetlabs releasing a new #unbound version to watch the #magic. Or to watch it fail.
In my dev-env it works like a charm, though.
I don't want to seem arrogant but I guess this is one of the most feature-rich, secure and advanced image around. And always made with ❤️.
I'm a lazy person so I've implemented a #cd to automatically #update my #unbound#docker image as soon as @nlnetlabs publishes a new release. No worries, I can and will update the image manually in case #cve's got fixed in a component as you are used to. No sacrifice in terms of #security, so the unbound #sha256 will be populated, too to verify the integrity of the source tarball.
Thanks to @metin I have been invited to early access to a new SDF game engine called #unbound 🚀
Basically it's #dreams from PS4/5 but on PC. You can model with SDFs, use splatter (flecks) to create fur and grass, create logic and much more! In the spirit of SDF modelling, I created this cat from a cube and a sphere to test some of the features.

I've released version 1.19.0-3 of my @nlnetlabs#unbound#docker image with updated build environments and unbound base to #alpinelinux 3.19.0. I have reduced two image layers by adding a separate build stage. The tags of the build environments got pinned for better #reproducibility, too.

Oh, gosh. I've done a vast amount of editing to everything I've ever written.
I completely rewrote my #Unbound story, but I'm not sure if that counts.
I've also changed gigantic parts of #TheCityOfOpulence as well. I think that's the answer I'll go with here. That story has evolved so much over the years. I took my character from #CyerpunkRED and #Cyberpunk2020 and made an original #SFF universe for him. I love it.
