I've been in a great mood lately! Yesterday I walked over 15k steps!
Part of those steps: I did strolling magic yesterday. The host liked me so much, they gave me a 15% tip! I also tried out a couple of new effects and they worked like a literal charm. I was in a flow state.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous the last few days. I've not needed air conditioning.
There is a lot going on in Pieter van Laer's 1630s "Self-Portrait with Magic Scene" (e.g. #earlymodern#alchemy and #magic, and #books). But have a look at the paper cone in the right foreground of the painting. Likely seeds or #peppercorns are spilling out. This is relevant for #PaperHistory and #BookHistory, dear #histodons.
Liz just wants a happy birthday.
Is that too much to ask?
A beautiful antique bed: her birthday present to herself. The nice delivery men set it up in her bedroom, and then all Hell breaks loose. Literally.
When it turns out the bed's former owner isn't basking in the glow of a happy afterlife, Liz must face some nasty adversaries to help him. Why on earth would she risk her life and her sanity to help a ghost? Certainly not because she’s in love with him.
"The Contestant" on Hulu, about the guy who spent a over a year in an empty room surviving on only what he could win in magazine contests, is quite good.
Has actually a few turns I wasn't expecting, which is lovely, because it could be a complete downer.
Also "In & Of Itself" is still on there, which is one of most amazing magic "shows" I've ever seen. Autobiographical, insightful, with "tricks" that are organic to his story, and just astounding. Masterwork by Derek DelGaudio
May the artwork take you to a place of magical romance and deep, calming joy, bringing a smile of gladness to your face and heart every time you see it.
Hey, neat! Thank you! It's an "imagination engine" - the original mod @Arotrios kbin.social wrote a detailed description here.
I never really fully got my head around it but it seems to be a combination of art, poetry, music, cinema, mythology, etc and a lot of the posts in it bounce off other posts in it.
Hoping to get back into the crafting groove soon - this winter has been rough. Feeling a bit better. My goal is to have enough materials to do a craft show this fall, for the holiday season. Don't know if I'll make it, but I'm going to try, lol.
Here's one that I have in stock, and materials for one or two more. Of course, the fabric can be any design or main color. Just let me know!
Tonight, I didn't do much Beltane-ish magic or so, just lighting a candle and some incense, giving some offerings ... and then I took a look what's in that box and found one spell from 2022.
I guess it's time to release that. 😅Or do a new one.
