Moonlit Pond Reflections at Longwood Gardens III is a digital art piece I made from a photograph taken at the outdoor waterlily garden. Display alone or with the two companion pieces.
Bright pink hibiscus bloom on white, square format photography. Also available on black. Nice when displayed with other flower images in this same format.
A woman in my local arts group described her art medium as "iris folding." I couldn't imagine folding irises, but I learned that it was paper folding in an iris (as in the eye or camera aperture, not the flower) pattern. Intrigued, I set out to see if I could create something similar. The result was this piece, which I titled Composition Vermillon. Did you get to see the total eclipse? We had cloudy skies here and only a partial eclipse was visible on the west coast anyway. So I finished "After the Eclipse" instead!
