Ok, #Plume est au ralenti, mais il n'y a pas une autre implémentation qui a pris la relève ? Je cherche à documenter mes #randos, ma #domotique, mon #potager, mon #autohebergement, mes #recettes, et autres trucs, à les partager et à pouvoir interagir avec le fedivers. Je pensais à un blog mais ça peut être un genre de wiki aussi 🤔

Yes, I created my #plume account on otakufarms. It works like writefreely: You have an account, with which you can start blogs, on which you can post blogposts. My account (Piko) has a blog (Fedivoyage), and I already started posting:

So, did I miss anything noteworthy? Does anyone have any tips or recommendations before I choose a server for any one of these? I'll probably be going for the most popular server on each for improved federation and maintenance.
Note: I'm using #Sharkey right now and Misskey forks are already overrepresented, so that's why it's not included.
I'm back on #Mastodon again and I must say that so far, I prefer it. I do prefer the size and scope of #Friendica but there's so much more to look at on Mastodon to keep you engaged. I'm also going to miss macroblogging, but I guess that's what services like #Plume are for.
I'd like to have only one presence on the fedi, but different features will ultimately keep me on different platforms at the end of the day.

Ich schreibe einen Artikel über den #FediverseFachtag und in dem Rahmen natürlich auch über das #Fediverse . Zielgruppe sind Leute, die wahrscheinlich zum Großteil noch gar nix vom Fediverse gehört haben.
Dazu bin ich dabei, eine Tabelle zu erstellen, in der einige Fedi-Dienste sowie deren Haupt-/ besondere Funktionen aufgeführt werden sollen.
Das ist der derzeitige Entwurf:

Ein Vergleich mit kommerziellen Plattformen ist natürlich immer nur zum Teil passend. Ich kenne auch keinen der kommerziellen Dienste aus eigener Erfahrung, aber für die avisierte Zielgruppe kann so ein Vergleich vielleicht trotzdem eine hilfreiche Orientierung sein. Vielleicht gibt es da aber auch Vergleiche, die passender sind. Einige Dienste (bspw. Medium, Podigee) kannte ich auch noch nicht mal vom Namen her, sondern habe das nur aus ähnlichen Vergleichstabellen übernommen.
Zu den "besonderen Funktionen":
Insbesondere Friendica, Firefish und v.a. Hubzilla haben so viele Funktionen, dass diese im Rahmen der Tabelle nur exemplarisch aufgeführt werden können und die Auswahl ist subjektiv. Hier wäre die Frage, ob das eine passende Auswahl ist, ob besonders wichtige fehlen oder ob andere Funktionen wichtiger oder besonderer sind.

Since Mastodon's limit on characters doesn't allow lengthy Posts I have in mind on some subjects I pondered starting a #blog . Checking The possibilities of The #fediverse I am a little Bit crushed with information. I found Websites saying #friendica#writefreely#plume or #socialhome would be for blogging, but couldn't find much Else, since Most explanations are about Mastodon.
Could someone pleased #help and elaborate where The differences are, or give some pointers? 😊

Ich war viele Jahre komplett ohne Social Media. Vor vielen Jahren hatte ich einen Facebook Account. Den habe ich irgendwann gelöscht weil der FB Algorithmus es schafft das schlechteste in mir zum Vorschein zu bringen. Vor einiger Zeit dann zu Twitter. Sobald klar war dass Musk übernimmt habe ich das Konto zur Löschung eingestellt. Seitdem Mastodon.

Plume is “a federated blogging application”. Basically, it is a blogging software that was made for the fediverse network.
