Gibt es eigentlich friendica Instanzen in deutscher Sprache? M.W. kann man da ja Gruppen ähnlich wie früher google circles aufbauen und damit etwas Facebook feeling haben - oder täusche ich mich? #neuhier bin ich zwar nicht mehr richtig, aber friendica kenne ich noch gar nicht....
@Taleya Thanks for your sage advice. Should it ever happen that one day i decide to create a Lemmy account & begin using it, i hope that i remember this tip.
In the meantime, from my #Friendica & #Mastodon accounts, my OP & this reply now both coming from the former, @'s & #'s do work that way. The #Fediverse is far wider than only Lemmy.

Auch wenn (mal wieder) for Mastodon drauf steht, funktioniert es natürlich auch mit den weiteren Projekten. Das mit dem Markennamen scheint so ein Marketingtick zu sein ;)
This noob is testing the interconnectivity of the #Fediverse:
The word out there on the Fediverse make it seem as if all the different tools (Mastdn/P-tube/Lemmy/etc.) can interact with one another. But this is not the case, as some work both ways, whilst others only one way, or at all.
Once again I love the diversity of networks I can see with Friendica. The last ~50 posts in my main timeline included posts from: Diaspora, PixelFed, Mastodon, SocialHome, Bluesky, and Pleroma. Thank you Friendica and the fediverse. #friendica#fediverse
Today I installed #php 8.3 on my VServer ( #Alpine Linux) and tried to switch to that version with ln -fs /usr/bin/php83 /usr/bin/php .
Previously I used php 8.2.x
The problem is, #Friendica 's Admin Page says this:
The phpinfo() included in the admin area also says 8.2.18 and I have deleted the php-fpm82 service and added and started the php-fpm83 service and also restarted the php and apache and mariadb services and rebooted the server..

ich bin #neuhier bei #federationnetwork. Im #Fediverse bin ich schon die ein und andere Station gelaufen, zuletzt bei #Friendica auf der #opensocialat Instanz. Bis jetzt finde ich es hier sehr schön, habe aber dennochein Startproblem. Ich würde gerne meinen gefolgten Kontakte von Friendica mit hier rüber nehmen. Ich habe nun diese als .csv (was anderes war nicht möglich) exportiert. Leider bekomm ich hier beim importieren den Hinweis Rate limited exceeded. Please try again later. Mein verlangen danach, meine Contactlist händisch ein zu spielen tendiert zu null.
Jemand eine Idee wo der haken liegt?
Dobrym podejściem są też web-aplikacje starające się integrować wiele profili z różnych serwisów. Np. #Phanpy, który ostatnio integruje #Mastodon i #Pixelfed (jego Media-firt UI jest świetne).
Innym tematem jest uparte trzymanie się przez Mastodona obsługi jedynie typu Note (i ułomne wyświetlanie Article). A ponieważ Mastodon dominuje w #Fedi, nie rozwija się (tak jak mogłoby) wsparcie dla innych typów treści #ActivityPub: image, video, audio, artist, album, track, playlist. De facto obrazki czy filmiki albo audio to po prostu załączniki do typu Note, bo Masto tak ma i nic innego nie wyświetli :/
Więc IMO pole do rozwoju jest ogromne, nie trzymajmy się kurczowo jednego konta (to wymysł marketingowców budujących silosy), zostańmy przy jeden login do wielu usług, jeśli już musimy ;)
Warum bekomme ich maximal die Beiträge der letzten beiden Tage angezeigt?
Wenn ich unter Friendica den Account von @RNZonline aufrufe, so sind die ältesten Beiträge dort rund zwei Tage alt. Rufe ich jedoch direkt die Mastodon Seite auf, sehe ich das es da viel mehr und ältere Beiträge gibt. Woran kann das liegen?
Gibt es ein #Fediverse-#Frontend oder ein Fediverse-#Netzwerk, das einige folgender Kriterien umstandslos erfüllt:
🔎: Durchsuchung einzelner Profile nach Begriffen (Workaround siehe Kommentar)
📃: Keine Mehrfachauflistung eines Beitrags in der Benachrichtigungsliste pro Boost/Stern, stattdesse Anzeige mit Zähler

Does Friendica not support uploading audio? Tried uploading an MP3 but both times I couldn't find the uploaded file in the posting interface.
I'm also using Windows and noticed I had to select all file types to find my MP3 to upload. So maybe Friendica doesn't disallow non-images but the file selection makes it seem like it might.
