how would I configure #nixos so that the users can log in through #ldap ?
I have tryed some configs I found online but there was always an issue with either the network or the login. Thanks for any help

Hey #nixos pros,
i am using home manager and want to manage my dotfiles via a module. For that purpose I set options.dotfiles.cava.enable = lib.mkEnableOption "enable cava"; in cava.nix. I then imported that in dotfiles.nix and set dotfiles.cava.enable = lib.mkDefault false; and imported dotfiles.nix into my home.nix and set dotfiles.cava.enable = true;. When I try to build that i get the error "The option dotfiles' does not exist." in dotfiles.nix`

i just explained Linux and KDE to someone in terms of a car.

Linux is a car frame with an engine. it's used in many completely different vehicles.

KDE is a type of car body. most people think of the body as the car or operating system, but it's just the interior and exterior, not what makes the car go. and Linux users do body swaps sometimes.

being a Linux enthusiast is a bit like being into modifying cars.

Newbie question: Clearnet sites

So I installed i2p on a Linux Mint VM. I’m able to see i2p sites, but I’m also able to browse clearnet sites, which I thought would not work. Does the default Linux installer configure an exit node by default?
