    @peterdutoit that is scary considering the two lines touched as recently as 2010.
    The latest difference is 2W/m² and you've said 500 million m² surface area so that's 1 billion Watts.x 365 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 minutes = 31 million billion joules.
    If I've got my orders of magnitude right that's 8.6 billion kWh
    Also, source please? I'd like to look it up.

    Good news! A wrinkle: Is the drop in a few countries an adjustment after 'panic buying' when fuel prices shot up after Putin's move or is it the Elon effect? If I was in the market I certainly wouldn't buy a Tesla anymore thanks to him.
