Every now and then I find some new music or a good movie that on first thought I want to immediately share it with my mother until I realize she died twelve years ago. It makes me sad that I don't have her around anymore, and then I obess over what it would be like to have her in my life still. I have no doubt she would be maga, and I would have been disowned for being liberal. I'm glad I have the positive memories I have of her before the negative overwhelmed the good.

@davidho the past few years I've installed solar panels on my house which generates 100% the energy we use (we depend on surplus in the winter). I've also upgraded to an EV which I only charge at home. I've also been a vegetarian for several years now. My footprint is relatively small.
Trump supporters see in Trump everything they are. They may not say everything he says, but that's because they are afraid of the consequences. Trump is everything they want to be. This is why an attack on Trump is an attack on them. Every single one of them are hateful bigots, racists, and want violence. Don't let a smile and wave tell you otherwise.
