Participating in music challenges, competitions, and beat battles has been a fun experience and a way to push myself to try new things and become part of a community.
Here's a playlist of all the music I've made along the way.

Last year, @dunia, @nwperry, and I used the #HumanitiesTruck (a converted food truck) as a mobile recording studio, traveling around the Washington #DC area to provide free studio recordings to 14 diverse music artists, which we released on http://outofourshells.com.
We've compiled their #music and their stories in a short #film, which is now on YouTube. Please watch, listen, and share:
I write about parenting, technology, and music and explore where those three topics intersect. From taking kids to concerts and festivals to the impact of tech on the music industry and all our lives. #introduction#music#technology#glasgow
“Did You Listen to This?” part IV: Just now, I released my song “Time Out” (from the album “Make Me Do”) in a freshly mixed version. It is to remind us how important it is to relax, do nothing, watch the wandering clouds, simply exist in the Here and Now.
@classicalmusic and/or @jazz you may know that https://www.prestomusic.com/ now has a streaming service. You may not know that for half the monthly price you don't get streaming, but you still get 10% off all physical media and digital downloads. Pays for itself if you are like me and buy albums rather than stream. Another good place to buy #HiRes music is the all-genre site, https://www.prostudiomasters.com/. Good alternatives to the disreputable site, #Qobuz.
Another tune from the pen of poet @atomic and composition by me! Recording by me too. Okay, and the mix. This is a low budget production. As... as they all are.
@dekkzz76 Let's see... 1) #Perl is a full-featured, high-level programming language, so it is a natural for abstract musical tinkering. 2) Sean M. Burke created MIDI set of modules for Perl back in '98. Also 3) I had been using the language professionally for a few years so I was experienced enough to try fooling with #music programming and #MIDI#composition.
