So delicate, so detailed and exquisite -- I know some people call the purple bearded iris "common," but to me, there is nothing common about a flower so elegantly formed.
I love the way the iris stands in its space -- tall, firm, confident, with a strength that belies its fragility.

On est allé avec mon zhumain dans la prairie. J'y ai cherché quelques mulots dans l'herbe sèche - en vain. Tant pis.
En passant devant la maison d'Anne-Marie, j'ai croisé ma copine Gaïa. Elle est un peu sourde. J'approche doucement pour ne pas la surprendre. On se fait un bisou et on a filé toutes les deux dans son jardin pour observer des trucs.
Ensuite, je suis descendu aux étangs. Je m'y suis baigné, parce qu'il faisait un peu chaud. Et j'avais soif aussi. J'ai essayé de surprendre les poissons. En vain. Tant pis.
Puis le zhumain s'est allongé dans l'herbe pour écrire des trucs sur son carnet. Il fait souvent ça. J'essaie de lui rappeler qu'il y a un sachet de biscuits dans son sac à dos en posant la patte sur le carnet. Du coup, il y pense.
