I found a lost bell mounted on a dog collar today. It fit my… ankle so I donned it and rode back home with it 🤓

Video of me pedaling away. At some point I wiggle my foot to sound the bell. My foot in a black and red sneaker, on an eMountain bike pedal. A blue dog collar is fastened around my ankle. A large metallic bell dangles from it.

Hunters here, I think, mean to hunt boars and probably bambi too. Rabbits or hares as well I suppose. But mostly they hit their own kind, their dogs, hikers and cyclists 😱

I met a lovely guy in the hotel lobby while waiting for my cab from Bristol. He couldn’t get online and the hotel WiFi sucked so I let him hot spot to my phone. I’m a one man US reputation rebuilding project.

Apple annonce une future fonctionnalité "Web Eraser" qui permet, en gros, de masquer les contenus que vous jugez indésirables sur "votre" Web. On imagine bien les usages.
Les marques, régies et agences de publicité s'inquiètent bien entendu de son usage en tant qu'AdBlocker.

Pour ma part, je m'inquiète un peu plus de la disparition d'un langage commun du Net et d'une nouvelle fragmentation, inévitable, de celui-ci.
Mais bon.

Si tu es utilisateur de IFTTT, par exemple, tu peux considérer te créer une routine qui envoie les photos ailleurs (à déterminer).

@caribou I do too (and 3 regularly too), but in this case I interpreted « main » as « default », because there has got to be one you prefer even slightly, to elect as default.

Un pâtissier Breton indique dans la même phrase que le Kouign Amann a été inventé suite à une erreur dans une boulangerie et qu’aujourd’hui il est réalisé selon une technique difficile à maîtriser.
Donc, un boulanger s’est dit un jour « Tiens, je vais faire une tartine de beurre salé au sucre en poudre –AH ZUT ! le pain n’est pas encore cuit ! » puis a décidé de tout aplatir, de plier dans un sens et dans l’autre, aplatir encore, replier, mettre dans un moule rond et faire cuire au four.

J'ai recueilli, entre deux lattes de terrasse, un bébé arbre que je trouvais joli.
D'après plantnet c'est un érable rouge qui peut pousser tranquillement jusqu'à 20-30 mètres.
Donc peut-être que je ne vais pas le mettre en pleine terre dans mon petit jardin, finalement. Je me demande si je peux le garder en pot sur mon bureau, en mode bonsaï.

The perks of my dad being friends with a family whose business is growing in Vallauris.

From when I was little I recall they occasionally gave us big eggs from their geese and I wasn’t exactly sure what they actually did for a living 😀

@bkardell it smells nothing, frustratingly. Ornamental roses tend to not be very fragrant. Fragrant roses tend to be small, short-stemmed, not remarkably pretty. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@karlcow @dbaron a friend of mine in the area of Lyon sent me once a photo of a local common red poppy whose inside featured … white spots.
The ones I am used to here feature black spots inside. And since then I have looked for red poppies with white spots within but so far haven’t found one myself.
